It was Serge's initiative that caused this photographer to be taken. Serge, who knew that we were working with Paris Match, demanded: "Hey, boys, what do I have to do to get into your mag?" after listing some inanities, such as "marry this or that princess" we came to the bathtub. (…) Serge added, "like that, they will stop saying that I am dirty!"

Martin
Xavier Martin was born, lives, and works in Paris. When he was twelve, his father gave him his first camera. It was then that he took his first pictures, photographing everything around him. Impassioned and determined to become a photographer, he began his trade with the Angeli agency at the end of the 70s, as a reporter and, in particular, as a photographer of celebrities and continued in this line of work at Sipa Press. Engaged by France Soir, Journal du Dimanche, and the Figaro, he is a photojournalist of current events, and also collaborates with l’Agence Jet Set, agency of stars.
